With well over a decade of experience lobbying on behalf of social impact nonprofits, Christopher offers a rare combination of policy and advocacy skills. He understands the unique needs of nonprofits, offers substantive policy expertise across a diverse range of issues, and possesses the technical know-how and access to affect change. Christopher previously served as Senior Vice President at Beacon Consulting Group, a firm similarly dedicated to nonprofits, before establishing Spinnaker in 2016.  

Alejandro Carranza is passionate about social justice and creating systems of

support for marginalized communities through  creative policy solutions. As an

avid artist and musician, Alejandro has engaged in a variety of topics aligning with

racial equity, culture, art & humanities, and justice. Most recently, Alejandro served

as a New York City Urban Fellow with the Department of Probation: NeON Arts. In

his time as a NYC Urban Fellow, he emphasized the importance of marginalized

voices being included within all systems of governance and the arts being used as a

resource for the betterment of society.
